Not to argue. FYI -all.
DS-102 does not currectly show on NAPA.com or at store.
Apparently, from the paper in the box, DS-102, et al, were incorporated into redesign of DS-101 - which is very available. I posted on Xref. The original on my car was Delco but no number visible.

1939 Packard 6 4-door assemlby

Recently purchased a '39 6 4-door disassembled. Trying to find where the parts to the right of the pictured grill assembly belong. The two leaning against the wall seem to duplicates of the side panels of the grill assembly. The parts on the floor seem to be (or might be) fender braces ?
Would appreciate any input, can't seem to match anything up, whether they are hood pieces, or back/front fendor braces, or even belong to this vehicle. Thanks

Thanks JW. I thought I heard wrong when the told me 4he price. T4hes guys duplicated one of the oil lines for the Hydro-Boost system in my j70 Lincoln Continental that was a spot on match. They can make anything along the hydraulic line (no pun intended). They should be espicially good with hydraulic windows & seats. I'll add them to the Vendors List.

Overdrive balk ring test

I didn't plan to do so, but I ended up taking the transmission completely apart. My original goal was only to install new gaskets and seals. I did end up finding a couple bearings that were on the rough side, so I ordered new ones to replace those. The rest of the trans appears to be in real nice shape. The one item that's in question is the balk ring for the overdrive. The service manual and a service bulletin tell you to attach a spring scale to measure the force required to rotate the ring around the sun gear. The spec is 3 to 5 pounds pull. I'm not anywhere close to that number on mine, looks like under 1 pound. The way they have the scale attached in the test spreads the ring open as you pull, and I'm wondering if the picture of the test is incorrect. Max Merrit has the rings for $25, but I don't know if they are new or used. Does anyone have any additional knowledge about this part?

Thanks, Jeff

That won't be a problem. With all the valve inspection and work I've been doing on my '51 I've had a great chance to get "up close and personal" with those vacuum lines. Just let me know when you're ready.

The original lines are pretty much in place and with a little bending and the right hose clamps I should be pretty much set up.. though the vacuum lines have been almost all removed. So I have no lines from the pump to the wiper motor or anywhere else they lead to or from... so some general mapping in that category is going to be the biggest help down the road.
